We have been fundraising for the past 3 years to create our new care home and gardens. The support we have received has been really touching and we are delighted to announce we have reached the £1.3 million milestone. Our warmest thanks to all our supporters, this truly means so much to our community.
People can offer us their support in a variety of ways, from volunteering in the home, to fundraising on our behalf. We know every penny counts and we would be grateful for any donation, however big or small. For ideas to get involved, please click here.
There are many ways you can donate and join our community of supporters:
- Virgin Money Giving
- Cheque payable to ‘Simeon Care for the Elderly’
- Hand in your donation (please arrange a visit in advance)
Come and see for yourself what makes Simeon so special.
Thank you for your generosity to make our new community a wonderful and happy place for older people.
Lord Nicol Stephen, Former Deputy First Minister and MSP for Aberdeen South, has seen for himself the level of care and respect on show at Simeon – his late mother spent several years here. He said: “I would encourage as many people as possible to get behind the campaign as there really is nowhere like it in the north-east.
“My mother was able to enjoy the last years of her life in such a caring and loving community at Simeon. I put that down to the people who work in this hidden gem and who often become like a second family to residents. I wouldn’t have wished for her to be anywhere else.”
